Sun, May 13, 07 ...Tapak A, Lake Garden..KL

It was a shinny day...I was lepaking around the lake at about 7.00 am looking for
my running mates...to run the 5 km Charity Run........While in search collected my T-shirt..( green... fav color)...environmental friendly.. Jumpa the happening Sanusi family members...met Abang's wife n the kid..(New Entry).. Jaya joined in... after warm up kot....belum start..dah berpeluh...was in his full force..wanna compete with the Kenyans... Javier was still on his way...kot ..cos we didn't c him around...Myself ..just wanna do it cooly..cos i was high...(song by afroman)...U know Y...? Did some cha-cha...shake here , twist there..... Javier is missing all these...

The race was flaged off..all of the sudden ... earlier...not at 8.00 am but 7.50 am. Javier was late but manage to compete..As usual , the coach used his turbo at the start...followed the Kenyans but couldn't stand long...he gave up..half way thru N finishes the 5 km in 23 : 40 . My self slowly N cooly finishes the race in 25:02 . Our friend Javier, overtook all of us (super Turbo) N finished the race in 20:35. Well Done..buddy!

Collected the goodies ( Hotel Istana) N met up at a place dan biasalah...it's time for Selamat pagi Malaysia ...Bincang about issue semasa...Uncle Steven, Ms Julie N friends N Kak Ida n the kid too joined in. It was a big group..filled with a lots of Love N Fun...the Malaysian Spirit...keep it up....!!!. The Siemen run would be on the 8th July. The FTAAA officals were distributing the forms...took a few...

Left about 9.30 am...Bye folks...

May 13 is a very meaningful day cos it was Mothers day, World Asthma Day, World Athelete Day N World Nurse Day....

Sun, 6th May 07, Dataran Merdeka ....

The Alarm beeps n beeps.... opened my eyes...What ..I am at the office...N it's 5.30 am... what am i doin here...Kerjalah siooot!... Had a short nap while on duty,,kkakakkaka ..it's time to get ready for the Bomba 10k run. I can hear the sound of the wind blowin at the range of 60 km/h.... n the cloud becoming darker...yeah..it's gonna rain for sure..N hmmm it was heavy...went down to the guard post n waited for the rain to subside...Saw the coach riding the bike ..hujankeh...ributkeh..coach tak kisah...very determine to run... Hopped in his car...reached at around 7.10 am...parked at Bukit Aman.....checked in ..saw Javier, Su,Abang and their friend Ms. Estelle Looi Mei Lin..( Ex Miss Malaysia-Universe 2004 2nd runners up)... A Mixture of Greece n Chinese.... Check-out Harian Metro - Tuesday ,8th May 2007...

The Race organised by the BOMBA Malysia was officiate by Local home Minister Datuk Ong Kaa Ting ..sharp at 7.30 am. It was very cold run n it took a long time for the body of mine to heat up..almost about 8 km...baru dapat On turbo....The coach N Javier awal-awal lagi dah turbo....It started to drizzle again half way thru..Javier finsihed in 49:15 at the 40th position, our coach was the last medalist (75) for the day in the men open with the timing of 53:55. Viva Coach. Myself finished in 54:42 (88) followed by our friend Rosta Lee.... Collected the Cert...It was really very cold as I was in the state of shiverin...Oh Boy!!.....Kalau Hujan lebat macam kat PD.....kan best ..Syok to run....

Met up with other Slow Movers...Izzat,Kakak, Makcik,Su,Abang N Kekawan. As usual..apa lagi..Makcik n Kakak were the medalist for the Women Veteran Catergory. Took some pics...chat N chat.....post mortem about the run,...the next run....n etc... Su handed the Vest N Bib for the 15 km New Balance run. The Vest was not bad... I had to make an early exit as I need to get back to the Off. ... Met Ms Yang Chik from Negeri Sembilan at the car park... Shared our running experiences.. She looks young as her name sounds....but she said she is in her mid 40's.....Aaaaahh ..Chan tertipu lagi.... Very hard to judge the age of a runner / athlete...!!! Gave her the Blog's url...hope that she joins us n keeps in touch... Sayonara...!

It was a very Shinny day. Siddex-Sidana held the first Badminton doubles open tournament which was
organised by BRC n sponsored by Edu Smart,Great Eastern, Dtgd cons , Sri's Saloon N Amway. It started at about 9.00 am .Venue: Siddex-Sidana Indoor Arena, Kayu Ara. It was packed with players , officals N supporters. 8 pairs were battling 4 the BRC trophy (sponsored by Great Eastern). The partners were choosen thru ballot system in order not to favour anyone. It was a round robin system. Divided into two groups with 4 pairs each. Each pair has to play 3 matches N the top two of the group will be playin in the semi's.

It was filled with a lots of emotions ,excitements N fun. Everyone showed off all their hidden talents , skills
N styles. After the long hours of shuttling , the finalist were Regis-Suren N Muru-Thiru. The Final weren't that exciting as expected... too tired kot atau ......! ANyHow the BRC trophy goes to..... Regis-Suren pair.
Syabas!!....Then ...what else..Makan-makan N Chaowlah at about 3.00 pm.

After the walkin N badminton.... I am back to running ... C U at Bomba Run... on Sunday! Bye...
