Pj Half Marathon - 21 km

Oops....this is not the Pj Half!!..it's the 4th 24 hrs walk...11th -12th August..at dataran merdeka.

Sun 12th August 2007, Stadium PJ, Kelana Jaya PJ...

It's the end of a big loop as the the Slow Movers are back to the place where we started. The entire Sanusi clan ,Jaya, Chan, Fairul Estelle,kak AidaN Rama joined in for the Anniversary Run.
....The PJ Half Marathon...

The Run started at 6.38 am.. 8 min late....Masalah parking bas kat depan startin point...Baaang....We ran ..ran..n ran.. up the the motorola bridge..down towards the SAS airport... come on babe..Run.. U have got a flight to catch..I said to myself....hhahahaha!!!!..
Made a U turn at terminal 3 N ran about 9 km more towards the Stadium...
Finished the race in 1:50:02 at the position of 65.... Followed by Rama in about 1:58 at the 127th placing N Abang slowly manage to finished his second Half Marathon. The rest of the Slow Movers doin 10 k N below reached earlier.... Well Done 2 all the SM!

After the Run .. we had a small celebration in conjunction with Su's Birthday N to remark the 1st Anniversary of Slow Movers. ...Su... Welcome to the club of 30's...dah tualah tu...Insaflah...!! Happy Birthday Su...!! Chit Chat..N left about 9.45 am. Happy Anniversary to all the Slow Movers where ever u are.. N Bye PJ... C u next Year..!!

Next Heading to Alor Setar..4 the 24th ASJC - 21k run... Bye!

Sunday, 5th August 2007, Sunway Pyramid...P.Jaya.

After a lot of races away, we r back to P.Jaya to do the Adidas King of the Road Run...The Reps for Slow Movers were Chan,Abang, Su (21km) ,Jaya,Javier,Makcik Kakak,Estelle,Fairul (10km) N Izzat (5km).
The Race started on time at 6.45am ...officiated by Datuk Seri Samy Vellu, the Works Minister..3...2...1..Whistle....preeeeeeeeeeep!!!!

Another 2 hrs ++ run along the New Pantai Expressway... two way fro...running in standard Malaysian weather condition... Ran in my usual pace all the way..slow N steady.. The route was very like the wave loo....up n down...tryin to finish within the qualifin time...n I did manage to finish it in 1:40:22 at the position of 103. Habis saja...apa lagi..it's Milo time..... Milo2 ..anda jadi sihat dan kuat.....!!!! met up with Mr Salsa N the Coach.... Fuzahir finished the 21k men vet catergory in about 2 hrs 15 min... Kasihan kakinya cramp at the last 4 Km ...followed by Abang ..about 2 hrs 34 mins. Su the rep of Slow Movers for the 21k women conquered the NPE from the begining till the end N finished it with bike escort in about 3 hrs++.Yeaaahhh..we r the Slow Movers....cayalah ..babe !!!

As for 10k, Javier managed to catch up with Jaya although he started 10 mins late n both of them finished approx in 53 mins. This time the Son had more luck ...as Izzat grabbed the last medal for his 5 km category N kakak Sumarni missed it by inches....well that is sports.. Kalah Menang..itu kan adat Sukan... Makcik, Fairul n Estelle finsihed the race with their own pace... Syabas to all...khas buat Izzat..

Once the most awaited person, YB Su arrived with escort Peronda NPE , we snapped some pics, sembang2...met Mr Khoo Chong Beng, the former National Walker,currently one of the Judges for the international Walk Federation. Left about 10.00am. Sunway Pyramid / Lagoon is one of the tourist spot in PJ city. Bye Sunway..

Sun, 29 July 2007, Bandar Melaka....

Yeah....The Slow Movers R in Melaka...for ???..... Myself N Su went there 2 days ago..
kononnya nak book hotel, collect bib, Tshirt...etc ...but the fact is that it was our off day...Exit at Ayer Keroh Toll, dropped by at the Melaka City Hall to collect the Bibs...but it was prayer time....friday maa... went on to check on Hotels...most of it were booked for Saturday....managed to get one at the Jln Laksamana Cheng Ho,''The City Theme Hotel"..quite convenient place...but of course the MILO Hotel was better ...hehhhehehehhe.ooops....sorry folks...very the teruk. It was just about 1.5 km away from the Stadium Tun Fatimah... the starting place for the Melaka Historic City International Run...

Lunch at Restoran 85 , Bukit Cina..N went back to the Graha Makmur , The City Hall to collect the stuffs and registered Fuzahir..the Thing. Lepak at the Mahkota Parade, Dataran Pahlawan, went for a movie.. Harry Porter... then to the Jonkers Street....macam-macam ada....memang best....basically....just walkin n walkin n walkin...it was fun...bought some souvenirs...back to the Hotel....Very the Letih....!

The next day ....went to the some of the Historical Places,...A'fomosa, Chaples, Museum,...N Kakak ,Nina,Illya n Izzat pun sampai....Lepak with them..had dinner in culture food village at Melaka Raya...Met Javier N friends at the Clock Tower... back to Jonkers Street...n walkin n walkin ..Kakak did some shoppin....then to the hotel early ..cos next is the most awaited day...The.....Run...!!

6.00 am.. Myself N Su left the hotel....N jogged all the way to the Tun Fatimah Stadium. We left early cos the 21.1k starts early...N it starts 5 mins later..at 6.50am.. Bang... there u go ...another approx of 2 hrs run...
It was nice to run as the weather was cooling,with a light drizzle..... running along the streets, buildings...across the Malacca River,...etc... Javier joined me at Km 9..N we ran together while chattin till the end....it was nice. Finsihed at about 1: 49:30...My PB. Izzat finished first (5Km) ..followed by the Ultimate kakak (10Km) .....N the Hardcore..of Slow movers who will never surrender till the end....Su finished the 21k wit her PB at at about 3: 08...but not with the help of Power Gel but It's the Oreo Biscuit which made it possible...??? !! Nina N Iliya were the camera ladies...All of us were medalist...except for Izzat...Syabas to all n keep on tryin.....!!! Met Mr Tey@pm22 N chat for a while. Thank U for snappin our pics...sir.

Left the Stadium at about 11.00 am n dropped by at Casa Cuba...the paradise of Cuba ...hosted by Mr Javier in Bkt Serindit. It was a huge place with a lots Cuban painitngs, cigars,alcohols,...a kinda of gallery cum museum....nice land scapping too. Tq Mr Javier. Straight to the culture village again for our lunch N to hotel N checked out about 1.00 pm N straight to KL cos Su has to go on Air @ Astro Prima by 7.30pm.
