A charity walk for the Cancer research by MAKNA N de response was Great... Bravo to all..!! My self , Hamid , Azman, Makcik ,Kak Aida N Kids together with Mr Javier were a part of the walkers too. Met Suresh N Frank..and few other veteran runners..

The Walk was officiated by Datuk Bandar at 8.00 am...It was about 4.3 km walk around the Tasik..it was fun walkin in a group while chatting..crackin jokes....took about 00:51:xx to finish...A cert and a mini hamper ++ a kipas tangan was given
to all the participants....wow..cayalah ..thmbs up to the Organizers! ..More events as such should be organised to create awareness ,unity,love,passion n etc among the nation...N dun Involve politics..it sucks...!!! Next would b the Adidas King Of the Road..till then Bye ..!!!

Sun,20th July 2007...Dataran Merdeka..

It wasn't the Slowmovers cup of milo...Walkin...Mackik,Pn Aida,Hamid, Nani N Co ..N Myself joinned the Ins-Takaful Walk.
It has 2 cat's...7 km for Open N 5 km for the Veterans.

Walkin issss...???? then running...U can't bend ur knee even a little...N the whole foot must be touchin the ground....As myself... very much use to running....alwaz tend to forget...that it's a walkin event... Manage to finish at No 35 in 00:41:50..The Goodies were woth more then the $ we paid......wit choc's,shampoo,towel N drinks...very the Nice..loo !!!!

Chit -Chat.. met Julie N co..some of Pacemakers n regular mates...Rushed back cos still on duty ma....????!!!! Ooooooooooops!... Dun tell-tell k !!...Next would B the Tesco Charity walk..till then Bye Folks !!!

Sat..Jul 12, 2008..Stadium Bkt Jalil...

A 6 km run in conjunction of the 10th birthday of KSN..Workin night shift...7.15 am all the colleagues met at office..n of we go...Most of the Slowmovers were there..Javier as usual .. ... the late bird..It started at 8.00 am.... ran around the stadium,across hockey stadium..climbing staircase..naik bkt Komanwell...n back to stadium. It was more like a cross country run...

Myself ..udah kaput...first 3 km can't move at a desire pace..kaki felt very the stiff...n berat nak angkat..ini akibatnya...kalau tak warm up betul2...next time..make sure ..k...then it was gettin better..able to move faster..tapi kena naik tangga pula....at the last 1k .....boringnya...till i just walked up... Finish in about 27:xx...top 65 but not top 60...missed the medal again..as usual..but oklah...for the amount of training i did...5% thru out the week...!!! All the ladies grabbed a medal each...Congrats ladies...!!!

Chit-chat... wit all the running mates..lepak-lepak....photo..Javier distributed some souveniors from Cuba... Thanks buddy !!... N off we go..Next would b the Takaful Ins Walk!..till then..Adios! I wanna Zzzzzzzzzz!!!!

Ipoh Int Run + Siemens run 2008

6th July 2008.. Stadium Indera Mulia,Ipoh...

The Slowmovers were divided again...4 the Siemens run In KL and Ipoh Int run...
at Ipoh....Myself, The Thing,Haieezan N Hamid went towards the North...Ipoh Mali...while the others were enjoying One of the best quarter marathon in town...
Left on Sat...collected the Bibs at the Stadium Indera Mulia N checked in at the Fair Park Hotel (booked by our colleague in Ipoh..TQ Mr Rasid)..yeaaahhh...kita sudah ipoh mali...Did some treasure hunting..."mencari Ipoh di Ipoh"...ni mmg kerja org gila...!! ..Had dinner in Tambun..bersama teman Bernama...Best mi rebus.. in the area...N retire at about 12.00am..

up at 5.00 am...jogged to the stadium... 1 km away from the hotel...race starts at 7.00 am..delayed..!!! All the catergory were let off together-gether...very the teruk...Imagine..about 9 k runners..!!! Did 21 k...finished in 1:50:50 at 41 placing...The Thing(Fuzahir) did it in 2:18:xx (130)...Hamid N Haieezan completed the 10k. The route was nice.. with no killing hills..water station at every 5k N spongse station at every 2.5 k..organiser...very the clumsy n not very well managed..well.. just lari sajalah....!!!

10.00 - back to Hotel...lepak jap...n off we go..back to KL...Bravo to all the runners N Slowmovers...Next would b the Jelajah KSN..till then...Cheerio..!!!

Sun 29th Jun 2008, UUM Sintok..Kedah..

While some of the Slowmovers were doin the Mc D run at Dataran Merdeka...KL
I was doin mine in UUM, Sintok...???....enrolled My Cousin sis..Ms Jeska@Rajes..
Congrats from all the Slowmovers...!!!
It was more to a family fun trip...chartered a Bas persiaran...for a group of 30...depart from Kayu Ara on Sat noon...put up in Arau Perlis....next morning to UUM, SIntok..Kedah... later picnic at Hutan Lipur Bukit Wang,Kedah...saw Life National geog... A large snake trying to swallow a smaller one but it was very shy to do so as the Kayu Araians were watchin it.....we saved the smaller one.. It thanked us !!...we left for our lunch at Pelita nasi Kandar (beside MC D) in Juru Penang ...stopped at Ipoh to drop one of the cousin sis..Shantini (balik kampung) N back to KL..!!! Basically we were in all the four Northen states..It was a very nice enjoyable thanni trip. Sintok is just 12 km away from Thailand..so there would be more 2 in 1 trips comin up...soon!!!

Back in Dataran Merdeka, the Slowmovers were having great fun doin the 7 km Mcd Olympic run. The Sanusi clans + the newly wed couple, Hasif, Haizan,Sumarlina,Nany N Zaid were the MCd olympiads...N given a cert ++ Milo,Vitagen,Cornetto N not Mcd...! The Larian Bdr Klang diraja was also held on the same day n yet The Mcd managed to pull a large crowd. Bravo to all !!!
