De Run..

Ran in the Media 2 km cat...with de Bernama Colleagues N other Media members. It was a cloudy day...the last to start after all other cat.Finished in about 10 mins...and merged the 1st place... after a while it poured heavily... Won a free Firefly trip to Langkawi for 3D2N and a lucky draw ..(Spa) worth of Rm 200...Sekali-kala naik Podium...oklah tu..!!! Makan Bfast ...Photo session..chit-chat N Bye...!!!

Sundown Marathon - 21k

about de Run..

Actually I went there to do de 84k ... but wasn't in the mood of running ..so just ran de 21k...
Took de night..senandung malam ..on the 28th... reached Tanjung Pagar at about 8.30..Hi Mr Tey......took a cab to Redhill Close.. met up with Javier, Dariana N Darien..( Dariana's bro)... 5.00 pm.. we left...took the MRT...got down at Tempines St...Collected the Book on Lee Kuan Yew from the Popular Bookstore and got some medicine from the Guardian as Dariana wasn't feelin good..Took a cab to Pasir Ris..which was a ST away to board the shuttle bus to Changi Aviation Park....But The queue was extremely long.......so just ask the cabbie to drive us straight to de Park.....The crowd was huge...as de 10k and de team event.. started earlier...met Joyce N Ijam..Hi... Warmed up....!!!
9.00 pm.. Honk...Blared..De 21k journey begins... ran along the airport ... filled with loud noise of the planes taking off and landing...About 6,000 runners joined me in de journey...didn't really enjoy de run as i had this sudden lost of excitement .... lost the mood of running... so just ran to finish..Up to km 15k.. my pacing was good...half way thru met Abang...manage to pose for a pic...10q...heel pain started.. stopped a while....n ran....stop n ran....till de end... finished in about 1: 59: 25... Javier was ahead of me .. finished in 1:56:00...it's 11.00 pm...Rushed back to the Shuttle bus pick up center...have to rush cos the last MRT is at 12.00 am ... de queue was long... can we make it....????...
After a while..manage to hop into a bus .... it was 11.25am... shoudn't be a prob to reach Pasir Ris by 12.am.... but.. due to the jam.. missed the last MRT by few seconds...took a bus...which can get us near to Redhill so that the cab fare would be cheaper... Bus NO 21...up to St Micheal...but too many stops.. One N Half hrs in the bus...Passed thru Tempines,Bedok,Geylang..(happenin),..Little India...N St Micheal. Took a cab to Redhill... Hungry like a wolf .. had A bowl of fishball Noodles...back home.. shower.. N bzzzzzzzzzzzzz.... !!!What a day....!!!

Gracious!!! .....Javier,Dariana , Darien N Cuba for de warm hospitality.. C u all the Std Chrtd Marathon in KL. Syabas to de SlowMoverz N all de Sundowners...Next would be Setia Eco Run..till then ...Bye...!!!

Upgraded to Junior Veteran... dun have to use turbo2..ran in a normal pace..walked at all the hilly part.. tired loo...de day b4 ...non stop an hour of futsal game..finished in 00:53:40 at 28th placing.. Lepak a while..chit-chat N Adios....!!!

A11 km run at the grave yard ....bersama ...??? faham2 ajelah...it was hot and hilly.. couldn't run... dahaga cam nak mampus...water station..only at km 8...legs were very heavy...so walk-walk aje lah...at times it happens... u just can't move on... rasa cam boleh.. tapi.. tak boleh !!!....but it was fun..runing along various shapes of tombstones sambil chit -chat dgn Happy Ghost...!!!.will be back next year... Bye for now...!!!

Reached Lake garden At 0650 hrs.. collected the Tee N bib...warm up... N chat with frenz....
Race strats at 7.45 am.... to run 3 hilly loops along Sri Carcosa...each about 3.5 km.First run after de ligamnet Injury.... out of form... Last final 2 km to go.. almost out of gas... Met WKM...Aks me to con't n pace him...slow pace....manage to get some gas... Zoom all de way to de finish line... No 28..in 01:01:33.. 10Q WKM...!!!. n 10Q CAR...!!! .Collected de Medal N Cert...Had some food..n Bye...!!!

Energizer Night Marathon - 42k

About de Run..

Depart from my hse at about 3.30pm...Bad day.... Lost balance of de bike and fell into the drain in front of the hse... Dad and mum came to rescue... no pains nor wounds any where....Met the rest at Bernama and left for Cyberjaya... parked the car about 2 km away(p7)..felt some kind of pain at the left side of my left knee .. bought some ice from the Rest'N nearby ..applied...hop in a shuttle bus...warmed up.................
6.06..pm.. flagged off...Slow pace..42 km to go...pain at the left knee...used more impact on right leg..Really a very slow run/jog due to the pain... Km 26.. stopped...starts to cramp....stretched... ran and walk till the end...Am I doing the right thing...am I going to end up in seriuos injury...shall I give up...but Will power was stronger...almost 3/4 of the distance covered ... hang on....slow n steady...u can do it... wanna listen to Mind or Heart...ah...what de hack....Just go for it....!!! finished in 5:14:xx ----What a feelin...It's Over at last....but left leg ...!!! Oh Boy.. what hv i done...
Next day...one part of the left knee swelled... due to the fall... went to the Doc... Ligament Injury..gave 2 days MC..asked to rest....and No runnin ...!!!..So just lepak aje..!!!
Congrats to all the Slowmoverz N de rest of the Marathoners....!!!
Next Run would be de CAR Family Run.... !!!.. Bye....!!!

Lesson no 1... Do Not Car Pool.. Promise to depart from Bernama at 8.30 am but left at 9.15am.. ++ looking for parking....Tunggu lagi....Warm up time gone.....
Lesson no 2... Never pecut without warm up...9.45am de Media Cat was flgged off...1 km of run b4 climbing...Legs felt heavy....while running... Oh no... If I force to turbo..would end up in cramps..climbing..2,058 stairs was done by walkin only..finished 10th in about 27.xx.xx-- far-far away from my PB...but it waz fun too...No matter what u do, where u are n how moody u r .... just enjoy every moment of it...try it and u would feel de diff... Lepak kat atas...sembang2...pics...makan2..N Bye...!!!......
Next would be d Cyberjaya Night Run...!!!
