KL City Day Run...2009

Sun,Feb 22..2009, Dataran Merdeka KL...

A 10k after a long time..with more n more Slow Moverz takin part..Nnnnnnn Introducing the newbie for de run...Mr Syafiq...of Johor mali..."Welcome" to the world of running.... !!! Reached Dataran at 7.05am, did some warming up...tapi tak panas pun... masuk kandang..

Off we go at 7.30am...memang very de... lotz of runnerz...The FTAA were expecting for about 5000 runners...Malaysian are more health conscious nowdays...Bravo !!! Ran in a slow pace for the first 7k abd turbo a bit at the last 3 km..trying to gain my old speed...but still not fit yet kot.... finished at 121 in 53:30:xx ..some improvement thou..Had to leave early ...cos of some work at de Off... Met fuzahir,Izzat, Hasif,Kak Sumarni, Ms Liza N other runnerz on de way back... sorry.. can't stay long...!!!
Next would b de KL towerthon.... till then Bye..!!!

De 24th FTAAA X-county run..SlowMoverz will b everywhere...
with more runnerz ...Welcome to Mr Auzan,Mr Bala,Ms Danesh Ms Kanaga and Mr. Yoga...added more spice to the run.. A run with some obstacles like hills, stairs,++ 1 km of jungle trekking...Chip timing system were used...Finshed at 43th position under junior Veteran cat....Guai sudah tua ma....dah masuk category uncles..!!!
It was a fun run..As usual chattin time...Met a lotz of mates...had to go early...BYE..!!! Next would b de KL City Run....!!!

Jan 18 2009, Tapak A, Lake Garden ..KL.

The 3rd edition of the run for de Slowmoverz...Abang and Fairul did de 30k... ...while Myself, Fuzahir,Javier, Kak Sumarni and Makcik did de 20k.......The route has been changed...Well as for now I just would like to do easy runz..at least for another 3 months...!!!

Manage to catch up with Abang, Julie and Haza ...de hordcores doin 30k...Syabas..!! I am glad... to be able to finish in sub 2 hrs with my below par fitness. It's not that easy to be back at top form after a long injury break... it's just matter of time..... Finished in 1:59:11. Met Javier who finished in 1:37:xx and a Checz fren..Didn't stay long coz I had somethin on.....couldn't meet up wit de others...C u all in de next race....Bye !!! N "GONG XI FA CAI" to all de Malaysians..

The Fun relay is back...with more runnerz and excitements...The Slowmoverz were repped by 5 teams......De Slowmoverz A,B,C (Men Open).. Extreme Vodoo (Women Open) and De Brc team (Mixed Team). The runnerz were.....

The Extreme Vodoo did well.. finishing at 3rd placing in women open...Syabas!!! while Slowmoverz B finished 16th, Slowmoverz A finished 22nd , and slowmoverz C at 25th placing.... We had some problems obtaining the positions for the mixed team due to some technical error but Unofficially the Brc team finshed at 17th position. The organizers were short of medals too for this category...well... It doesn't matters..as long as we ran and enjoyed the race with de Malaysian spirit !!!...It's all in the game..!!!! It's not that easy and simple to organise an event... !!! Anyway Thanks Klava N hoping for more...!
Next would be the Great Eastern 30k run..till then..BYe ..!!!
