I had to skip this long awaited run...to send my cousin to UUM...Congrats..Kanaga Malar !!!! ...++ a family trip..A lot of request from the family members N i Juz can't say NO.....I was really in delima the week b4 the race... N finally I had to given in...Bye SCKLIM..!!!
We chartered a bus..about 40 of us..took off on Sat Morning....put up the night in Jitra , which was about 40 km from UUM. We had a lot fun.. !!!! This kind of event only happens once in lifetime...but Marathon is there every year...so Juz say hello SCKLIM..C u next year....but how would de mgmt...B...????

About De Run...

Starts at 9.00 pm... another night run...N it's nice....have to run 7 loops of 3.2 km each... Hilly course..training for SCKLIM. Water station N fruits at every loop. finished 29th in 02:03:55....Ran an extra loop ...temankan Fuzahir....kakinya..cramp.....went on slow n steady....till the finish. ... Thank U to the Organizers...Next would B the KL Marathon...!!! Bye...folks !

Klang Half Marathon '09

Venue : Setia Alam Welcome Centre, Klang
Time : 6.30am
De slowmoverz : Chan, Haieezan,Hasif N Javier

Due to Mis comm.. we had to leave Fuzahir behind...left the off at 5.50 am and reached the destination at 6.29 am...just a min more for de race to start...Searched for Javier as I was holding his Bib...Pass it to him....Regsitered..collected the ribbon...and of we go... No warm ups at all....It was a nice running route...n nice weather despite a lot of U turns. Javier n Myself did the Half while Hasif N haieezan did the 11 k. Javier had cramps every where N struggled to finish the race....lack of training....!!!... N this might b his last race..cos he has to leave by 25th of June...Unless.. he is chosen again 2 b with de NNN.... 4 another year.....All De Best...Buddy!!!...
Myself ... just kept to my slow pace and finished 70th in 1: 56:03... it was a Ok run .... happy cos slowly gettin my tempo...manage to complete in sub 2 hrs... Hasif and Haieezan took off late cos the race starts earlier... 6.50 N not 7.00 am...but manage to finish on time... had some pics taken by Dariana of Cuba N off we goooooooo!!!! Bye Klang....!
Next would b de CR3 at Taman Bkt Jalil...till then..bYe...!!!
