Sun ..20th April 2008...Dataran Merdeka..KL

It was a last min decision to run as it was known on the closing day of the registration...Manage to get some of the Slow movers N office mates to join...Sumarlina N her friend Nina were the newbies... Welcome to the running society... N to Slow Movers...!!
The Race started at 7.30 am. Myself,Jaya,Hasif,Haizen , Hamid, Nagur ,Sumarlina N Nina represented the country for this Olympic run...Cayalah...babe....!! ... We ran along Bank Negara..to Wisma Pertanian..to Jln Parlimen N finished in Dataran Merdeka. Finished 21st in 26:34....Missed the medal by few seconds....!!! should have pushed a bit harder... Well ...You can't be a winner alwaz...!!...It's a part of the game...
..... Cancelled the Shoe String Run in Kota Kemuning, Shah Alam as it was on the same day n quite a distance from Kayu ara...but the blue colored baju ...was worth for...!!! Met Ronnie,Kp Tan ,Mr Jacob n other mates.... left about 8.50 am....Donated blood at the Chempaka Buddhist Temple....My annual Affair...!! Next would be the Klang 21k at padang Sultan Sulaiman...Klang..Bye..!!!

Sun, 13th April 2008....The Curve, PJ...

The Bhp fun run is back again....what's nice about it ....Byk sponsor loo.. after the race...It's a 9k race...with a suppotive cooling weather..just after a heavy rain..The Slow Movers + some Kayu Arian(Nagur,Rajesh,Kanaga,DD,DD's sis,n cousins) + friends chilled the fun run too...

Started sharp at 7.30 am... ran along the Curve, Pelangi, Chinese school,Center Point...n back to the Curve. Collected the cert, the goodies N waited for the rest of the runners. There were some shows too goin on...Met a lot of running mates
like Ronnie,Kptan,Vasan, Ghanapathy, Uncle Jusmile,Julie,Uncle Steven,Suresh, Rostaley N etc..."sorry if i have missed out anyone..."..too many mates..!!
..took about 50++ min to finish..(can't push N never push more)...knee tak okay ma..but can be improved loo..!!!

chit -chat with all the mates..N left about 10.30 am..Bye to all...!!! Next would be Kota Kemuning Shoe String run...!!

Sun, 30th March 2008, Dataran Merdeka...
The KLIM 2008 saw yet another domination by the Kenyans..
N we slowmovers..added some spice to it.... N as for me..
semuanya serba tak kena... Y?.........????
The day b4 the run ...kepala terhantuk kat pintu almari...,Jari tangan terseliuh..tak dapat tidur...pagi tu pula... roti no stock, makan pun tak seberapa..sampai about 5.45 am kat Dataran... cuba warm up...tapi engin cam tak nak start aje...

Sharp 6.00am... the start of the 21k tour around KL. I ran slow cos couldn't go any faster..entah apa dah jadi...may be lack of trainning.. kot...first 14 km ...ok aje... was among the familiar top runners..N here comes the "D"... felt a kind of ...pain...pedih rasaaaaaaaanya!!!..bila terkena peluh..kat peha..stopped n saw that both my thighs..dah melecet siot... bergeser dgn inner part of the branded shorts... rasa cam nak tanggalkan seluar tu ...tapi cuma tak nak publisiti...aje...! so just walk n run n walk....then ...the last 3 km...lapar pula...memang very the lapar sampai tak larat nak berlari...but still keep on to run N walk N walk N run...Finished at timing of 2:12:01..Ok juga...drp rasa nak quit yang timbul thru out the last 3 "D" km tu. Well Nothing is Impossible N semuanya kena ada some sort of bitter or sweet experiences for it to be remembered....Terus gasak 5 cups of cereal N milo....ahhhh...kenyaaang sikit...!

The Great "Abang" did the Slowmovers proud by completing the Marathon...I will be doin mine soon.Syabas to Abang N to Mr Sheikh too for running 10k 4 the first time N to the rest of the Slowmovers. Su,kak,Makcik,Javier,Myself,Fuzahir N Fairul did the 21k tour while Sheikh,Hasif,Hazreen,Haiezan N Jaya did the 10k tour. Well Done!!! ....Waited for the "Thing" to collect my key N terus adiossssss..!!! cos tak tahan rasa pedih N lapar (stomach semacam aje..)!
Next would be the BHP Orange run... Bye!!!
