X-country poawpKL ke 22 - 8km

Sun..Feb 25 ,07... Lake Garden

The Slow Movers r back...in a bigger team ..for the 22nd X-country. The first
for all the members. Kinda of tiring cos had to run on slippery roads, staircase, up hills, cross the widest river N drain in KL..etc. Manage to finish the race in about 45 mins. Not a good run actually but not bad.
Su and her two sibblings manage to get the finisher medals. The Slow Movers are improving in every run.
Keep it up !!!

The first race for the year of 2007....

The Slow Movers are back on the track again...running further N further N now it's the 20 KM
pacesetters run. Only two registered (Jaya N Chan) for this run as it was a late decision. Jaya couldn't make it..so it was only me to rep the Slow Movers.

The race began sharp at 6.30 am. About 500 runners were there.. 3.2.1..... go... It was one of my best run. First 3 km I was slow (jogging) as belum warm up N belum dapat tempo lagi.. .. then next 14 km I ran well..good pacing.....but still lack of training kot.... at km 18 onwards...I stopped twice... ..
Manage to finish in 2hrs 02min 16 sec at the position of 89... could have done better...!!

Collected the goodies and took part in some kind of survey by Great Eastern. Sayonara at about 9.00 am..

Wangsa Maju - SetiaWangsa Charity Run

Sat, 18th Nov... kinda of cloudy...

It's Charity time... at Wangsa Maju.. The annual WM-SM Charity Run.....8.7 KM
Tak payah..cari..de...for sure.. ada member2 Slow Movers..and Su...she brought the entire
family...It 's her family day kot... but Myself N jaya met none of them...only the makcik (kak Su) while
running... after the race we just went off cos myself was working on that day......N Jaya too had
something on...

NEW.....guess wat?.. we had a new member for the club...Mr Amin..the budak kecil..
we just saw him at the starting point...with his sleepy face...lepas..tu..entah mana dia pi... anyhow
he manage to finish the race.... Myself completed the race in about 43 min.....boleh improve lagi kot...

Never N Dun give up .....The Slow Movers will keep on tryin N tryin N tryin...
