Sun.., 27 April 2008, Padang Sultan Sulaiman...

Yeap...another 21 k to test my performance base on the post mortem of KLIM...??? Myself doin the half, Jaya n Hareen ran the 10k..N some of the SlowMovers powered the 10k Power run at Dataran Merdeka...
Reached Klang at 5.30 am..Greeted some of the mates like runningmom..Haza,Suresh,Guna,Ghana, Mr Choi, Mr Guna.Khairul,Saiful.....etc...warmed up....!!!

Started at 6.15 am...21k along Bukit Tinggi... Jusco...Tmn Botanic..Andalas..N..finished at the Padang Sultan Sulaiman. Everythin was fine...till ..at km 17..The hunger strikes back..just like at Klim...saw my watch.. the time was 1:23:xx.. another 4 ++ km to go N even if run 9 min per k..I would be able to finished below 2 hrs...but... I just couldn't...i just walked n ran slowly...Yeah..!!! there comes the saviour for the day...Mr Abu the Power...he shared his candy like sweet gel..THANKS buddy.!... it was rite on time..My stomach felt a bit better n able to move slowly..but...thirsty pula....luckily there was another water station at km 19...what a relief....tried to set my pace ... met Mrs Kari Young an American lady...paced with her...while chatting....N as my pace increases ...slowly moved away.. Nice metting u mam!...n finished at the timing of 2:03:20...! Easily could have done below 2:00..need more ....???!
Jaya finished the 10k in about 00:57:xx , followed by Hazreen...N where is Hasif ..another Slowmover who is suppose to join us....Aiyahhh...apa ini orang...! over slept...N there goes the chance to grab a nice pentagon shaped medal...tak apa..this is not the end....more races ahead..!!
Next would be Larian Bomba followed by Asthma Joggathon.....till then Bye !!!

It was a last min decision to run as it was known on the closing day of the registration...Manage to get some of the Slow movers N office mates to join...Sumarlina N her friend Nina were the newbies... Welcome to the running society... N to Slow Movers...!!
The Race started at 7.30 am. Myself,Jaya,Hasif,Haizen , Hamid, Nagur ,Sumarlina N Nina represented the country for this Olympic run...Cayalah...babe....!! ... We ran along Bank Negara..to Wisma Pertanian..to Jln Parlimen N finished in Dataran Merdeka. Finished 21st in 26:34....Missed the medal by few seconds....!!! should have pushed a bit harder... Well ...You can't be a winner alwaz...!!...It's a part of the game...
..... Cancelled the Shoe String Run in Kota Kemuning, Shah Alam as it was on the same day n quite a distance from Kayu ara...but the blue colored baju ...was worth for...!!! Met Ronnie,Kp Tan ,Mr Jacob n other mates.... left about 8.50 am....Donated blood at the Chempaka Buddhist Temple....My annual Affair...!! Next would be the Klang 21k at padang Sultan Sulaiman...Klang..Bye..!!!

Sun, 13th April 2008....The Curve, PJ...

The Bhp fun run is back again....what's nice about it ....Byk sponsor loo.. after the race...It's a 9k race...with a suppotive cooling weather..just after a heavy rain..The Slow Movers + some Kayu Arian(Nagur,Rajesh,Kanaga,DD,DD's sis,n cousins) + friends chilled the fun run too...

Started sharp at 7.30 am... ran along the Curve, Pelangi, Chinese school,Center Point...n back to the Curve. Collected the cert, the goodies N waited for the rest of the runners. There were some shows too goin on...Met a lot of running mates
like Ronnie,Kptan,Vasan, Ghanapathy, Uncle Jusmile,Julie,Uncle Steven,Suresh, Rostaley N etc..."sorry if i have missed out anyone..."..too many mates..!!
..took about 50++ min to finish..(can't push N never push more)...knee tak okay ma..but can be improved loo..!!!

chit -chat with all the mates..N left about 10.30 am..Bye to all...!!! Next would be Kota Kemuning Shoe String run...!!
